Guided Trail Rides with Horse Rental
Adventure
through 111 acres along the Amite River, around Wanetiri Lake and
discover over 5 miles of wooded trails, a wildlife refugey and large
bald cypress sactuary. Well-trained trail horses carry beginners and
expert riders safely on the journey while guides provide a historical
perspective about the area. Children ages 8 to 15 older must
be
accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. One rider per
horse
only.

Romantic
Horseback Trail Ride for Two with Gourmet Picnic
As featured in 225
Magazine in February 2007, a one hour private guided trail
ride for two is planned to explore the hills, sandy trails and wildlife
habitat of Wanetiri Lakes.
After the ride, couples are brought to a private picnic area where a
bountiful, romantic picnic table is prepared for their pleasure.
Each table is prepared with a fresh bouquet of flowers,
2-3 varieties of sandwiches on delicious bread, dressed as
requested,
salad, a cheese selection of 3-4 gourmet choices with several types of
crackers, fresh fruit & berries, a sweet tray for two,
sparkling
grape juice, bottled water, and juice or soft drinks. Wine or beer may
be added by the guests.

new program of small groups of 4-8 "Jr. Wranglers" ages 7 to 15
interested in horseback riding
lessons, and exploring the possibility of future horse ownership. Each
cowboy & cowgirl will meet for 2 to 2 1/2
hours weekly
with experienced instructors who

are
life-long riders, instructors, and rodeo competitors.
Basic
horsemanship, grooming, riding skills advancing into trail riding,
roping, barrels & pole racing, cutting, sorting and team
penning
will be introduced.
